Five Communities Join the WNY Family and Bring Total Employment to Record Levels

Each member of the WNY team is excited about the opportunities which the expansion of our Company will provide both our residents and employees. In 1999, five new communities joined our family along with 21 new employees.

  • Meadow Green Apartments, Lancaster, PA.
  • Lincoln Park Apartments, Reading, PA.
  • Seagrass Cove Apartments, Pleasantville, NJ
  • Village Green Apartments, South River, NJ
  • Strathmore Apartments, Aberdeen, NJ

Meadow Green Apartments

WNY currently owns 6,908 apartments and has a lease option purchase agreement for an additional 332 units. Our properties are located in New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Eastern Pennsylvania and we will maintain our focus in this region as we continue our expansion program.
More important than the number of apartment units are the numbers of employees. WNY employs a staff of 250 dedicated and committed individuals of wide-ranging and diverse backgrounds and talents. They come to work daily to serve you, our residents.
As we grow, so will the benefits received by our employees. In the year 2000, we will introduce a new comprehensive medical plan, a matching 401 (K) retirement plan and provide each employee with $20,000 of life insurance benefits. Coupled with our expanded educational programs and grants which are available for continuing education, we hope to attract and retain the most qualified employees in the industry. As residents, you can do your part. Please take time to personally greet our employees and share with them your appreciation and gratitude for the services they provide. A smile, a handshake and a personal greeting enhances the quality of the work environment.

Employee Recognition

At this time each year we have a special opportunity to recognize some of the many dedicated employees who have been part of our family for five or more years. Time does fly by rapidly and it is very important that we don't lose sight of the invaluable contribution made by each of these special individuals.
